Tie Rod Replacement

The city I live in screwed up on a road and it turned super slick when it rains.
Ive got some racing tires on now so my car made no attempt to even gain back control when I lost it. Ended up smashing a bunch of parts and am repairing it myself. Anyone ever remove the tie rod connecting to the steering rack? , its got me a little stumped.

the inner tie rods can be replaced
1- remove outer tie rod end
2- remove dust boot to access inner tie rod end
3- using a pipe wrench unscrew inner tie rod end from rack shaft

do in reverse to put new one on
if when you remove the dust boot there is p/s fluid in it you have to replace the rack cause the fluid seal is torn and leaking
also i put a little loctite on the inner tie rod ends just to be safe..
