Blackout Roof

I saw a pic of a lancer with a blacked out roof and it looked cool. So i was just wondering if there was a simple way of doing it yourself. Any pics would be appreciated.

Thanks!

I think the best way is to get a piece of vinyl installed. It'll be cheaper than paint, and you can take it off when you're done with it.

Yep vinyl it's easy to do just make a soap and water spray and spray the roof this will give u time to play with fitment. Use a hair dryer to stick it down and strech it along with a rubber squeegee to get bubbles out. Wala.

I had my roof done with a gloss back and Ive had zero problems with it, it was fine sitting outside all summer in GA heat. I went to a graphics shop in town and it was pretty cheap I was surprised.

A 4' x 4' sheet should probably be enough. Just measure the roof.

There are a couple of Evos with the carbon fiber vinyl on the roof.

I love the fact that at least if you don't like it you can simply take the vinyl off...not so much for paint

yeah the only problem i heard of is if you leave it for too long and then take it off it could damage the paint of the car... is that true?
