If you've ran into a road block on where to get your TA and SP signals from for your Defi Advance Control Unit here is your solution. If you go to Road Race's Website specifically for the Evo X ECU wiring : http://http://roadraceengineering.co...-ecuwiring.htm. You will see pin 4 for the No.1 ignition coil (ignition power transistor); this is the wire you will use for your TA signal it is White with a Red stripe; make sure upon set up of your Control Unit set the number of cylinders to 1 (the speed pulses remain 4). For your SP signal wire it is on the main connector to your stereo (mine is aftermarket so I have an adapter) there is a white wire with a blue stripe (I believe its also the main speed sensor for any Mitsu or after market Navi units) the plug has 20 pins if that helps. For general placement of the Control Unit I bought some exhaust hanger material and bent that into a bracket to mount the Control Unit immediately below the stereo. Solder all connection points as this will ensure an uninterrupted signal. Feel free to PMme or post up if you have any questions; I'm no expert but Ill do my best to help. Thanks
