Hey folks, I´m just playing around and studying the ECUFlash using Marlin´s guide. I´m using stock base just to understand better how it works.
For a simple Burble, can just turn to ignition time to -7 or need to adjust fuel map too? This case I just testing bubbles when lifting the pedal (reference to
I've done this with my tune, and it works. it's pretty fun to listen to.
However, i haven't figured out how to get the exhaust pops on up-shift reliably (i.e. at any throttle position). So far, I've only been able to achieve minor up-shift pops under very little load (light throttle) around 3000RPM.
For the up shifts, I THINK you need to be looking at the "Lower Bound Ignition Timing" map too. If I remember correctly, this table limits how much you can retard your ignition timing. So, for example, I see you have -7 in this table, if the "Lower Bound Ignition Timing" has higher values (less negative/more positive) in the same cells, then the timing retard won't go past what's in the "Lower Bound Ignition Timing" table.
At least, that's how i remember it being. I haven't messed with my tune in a couple of years. So, I could be WAY off.
