Seeing it today on the orange RA and not liking the look seems like the final straw to me, unless I see a TB RA and it looks beautiful, it's a no go

I like the looks of the aluminum over a chrome one any day.

As for how it looks on a black RA, 50/50 if you ask me.

I love the way it looks on my RR.

I had one on my octane blue GTS and I thought it looked good. I liked it cause it is pretty much the same color as the stock rims so they go well together. If u are putting new rims on your car, the fuel door will look out of place. I know u won't have this problem since u are in Florida, but the release on the fuel door freezes up during the winter and u have to pry it open. I sold mine cause it won't go with my gunmetal rims and it was a PITA all winter long.

yeah, I agree that with the stock wheels it looks pretty decent. With gunmetal or any other color wheels it does stick out like a sore thumb. I originally saw the cap in a showroom on an Octane Blue GTS and I thought it looked nice which is why we had the dealer throw it in with purchase of the vehicle.....

hmmm...

Dear JCGator42,

This is ralliart again. It has come to my attention that you are still considering the install of that chastity belt of a gas door you have there. Let me remind you that although i love our time together, if you install it, i will hate myself enough to throw us both off a cliff.

Don't push me!

Thanks,

Ralliart

Dear Ralliart,

we are in luck, there are no cliffs in florida, although there are some trash mounds....what are you thinking?

That fuel door doesnt look tacky on a black ralliart I saw one in person. Now for other colors like my apex silver it will look tacky as hell. Pretty much as long as you have your rims match with the same color or black rims you should be fine. IMO

Just had an idea.

Why not get it powdercoated to match your car?. I think alot of people think it looks tacky because it doesnt match your car colour but if you could get it powdercoated to match that would look good.

What ya think?

^ true, i could have it coated or anodized black but doesn't that defeat the purpose of having an aluminum door?
