Question To Install Fuel Door or not to install

I got the OEM optional Lancer Aluminum Fuel Door with my Ralliart purchase. Does anyone have this installed in a Tarmac Black RA?

I am trying to see if it would look good on a TA RA or if I should sell it, here is a pic of the part for those that don't know:

it's a nice looking piece by itself but I don't know if it's tacky or ricer-ish once installed,

let me know what you guys think.

thanks!

I'd prefer to have my WW with just a matching fuel door.

A lot of people have said they look tacky, but I personally like it. It instantly says that this is not a lower-end Lancer.

^ I don't think it's tacky but my wife does. It's one of the few fuel doors I have seen that actually looks nice. I haven't seen one installed on a Tarmac Black RA though so can't say for sure it will look good.

+1

I think the aluminum door kind of throw off the lines of the car in the WW. It looks ok on some of the other colors though.

Dear JCGator42,

This is your ralliart. I love you, and we have fun, but if you install that tacky hunk of garbage on me, i swear to god i will blow a main seal and hang my head in shame.

Thanks,

Ralliart

no it doesnt lol, it sold as an option and tossed into alot of base lancer deals as a selling point.

Not having one set us apart.

Someone on here does have a TB with the fuel door, and it doesn't really enhance the cars appearance any.

The gas cap itself is a bit ricer because it looks just like the fake plastic ones you can buy from the auto stores.
