I have not abandoned anyone! So it's been a long time since I've updated this thread, but for good reason. I've been working with Modified Magazine to get this project started. The first article is finally live and out on newstands now! I'm so pumped...never thought Project Sportback would look so good in print...my opinion of course haha

Check out the November 2010 'Project Car' issue of Modified Magazine for the complete article, but here's a preview via SpeedHunters - http://speedhunters.com/archive/2010...r-preview.aspx

Beyond that, there's been some changes that'll appear in the next segment of the "Project Sportback" build with Modified Mag. I've added some black Lancer window trim, along with a ton of AMS hard parts - intake, intercooler, UICP, downpipe, HFC, and Twin-tip exhaust (not pictured - painted matte black). And most importantly...a CBRD BBX-Lite turbo was installed! The car will be down at AMS within a few weeks for a tune...on E85!

Here's a few recent pictures of the car. JRZ's, front lip, and wheels are next!

This.

I just know Ryan is going to show the world what our cars can do, and most likely I will be using what he does as a guide.

Nah JRZ is the company that will be setting up the suspension. Lip isn't decided yet...any ideas?

Not to many options out there. Been working with Rexpeed, but they are having a hard time with it. Maybe you can talk to your boys at Mitsubishi Motors North America about getting some RalliArt goodies our way stateside

I've talked to them about the lip. They don't have any easier a go at it than we do. Melvin was going to pay about a grand for one and it never even showed up in time. They were trying to get it for a SEMA car and had to look elsewhere.

yeah guys, trust me, i've been hassling them constantly to see if any manage to appear whilst clearing out the inventory or changing over, depending on what they finally decide to do. been in direct contact with the int'l sourcing guy through mmna and still nothing as of yet.

on topic, ryan, what types of differences are we going to see with the jrz setup versus the rest that are out there so far. i'll be shopping for coil-overs for sure by next spring and would love your input especially when it comes to the handling segment

Biggest and more important difference would be valving rates, quality of machining, and quality of valving components. They focus on the primary function of what a shock absorber was designed to do.
