we have found almost EVERY evo X valve to leak, and when i say almost all, I mean 8 out of 10 of them we've recently tested.

All bench test ok to 25psi then open up! We swap them for a good valve on the dyno (aps twin vent for example) and pick up 3-5 psi, and typically atleast 20whp (up to 40)...

The leaking valves cause an overspeed issue (aka turbo working too hard to provide desired boost because of the leak)... so if you are running 28psi the turbo may be producing 34psi at the turbo outlet because of the leak before the tbody... effectively pushing the turbo beyond its designed pressure range.

food for thought

Ryan,

we were holding off to test the new synchronic valve which did hold boost nicely.

I will still move forward with our own valve which was in the final stages of machining... and I will send you one to run on your car as soon as possible.

Thanks again for your support.

cheers

With such a big spacer, I would say extended lugs are necessary.

dont think he needed to extend the studs since the spacers come with their own studs..
