Don't know about everyone getting pissed. I did ask him to back off. This thread was started on behalf of our vendor partner. And for us to allow someone to jack this thread wouldn't be right. Myself and n my RA have put a lot of time to get this moving. I have spoken to ZERO several times om Project Lancer, and he seems like a great guy.

 

ok. I'll have to check that forum and see what the delivery is like for those lips. We're still talking about a sept ETA for these ones from the secret vendor?

 

Ok, so here's the update. The lip is on backorder from Japan until Sept. Soooo yah.. he said he's really sorry, production will continue once he gets the lip but it won't be for awhile.

 

Ah that sucks. I'm still interested. Sure its worth the wait.

 

I can wait for a good thing. No rush here.

 

so if it's on backorder, and he's getting it in september, that would imply that ralliart is still producing authentic lips and may be back in operation, perhaps in colaboration with mitsubishi (like nismo did with nissan to stay alive), if i am interpreting that correctly. at least it would seem very possible right? i would very much like to know the truth on this...

Ya know, that's a good theory. It all makes sense if you think about it, that's definitely something worth looking in to.

yeah.. we were updated a while ago that it was on the ship to the vendor and now it's on back order hmmm.. back to square one too bad ZERO's ra lip is only available in FRP atm

 

talked to zero and he can get the FRP lips wrapped in CF...or di-noc or whatever for a nominal fee. I'm thinking hard about that option

 

There is a guy on here out of NY that has some RA lips for sale. Not sure if he still has them. They are exactly the same as RA lip, just without the logo, which you could get on ebay for 2 bucks if you wanted to. He sent me a PM, hes got fiberglass and carbon. Let me know if you are interested, I will forward the email to you. Sorry if this is a repeat or if he has already posted in this forum...^

 

n my RA, just gonna through my opinion out. I think you are BSing. Seriously I really want some hard evidence that this "vendor" is really interested in making a knockoff version of the ralliart lip. All I read is, he's starting production and then the lip is on back order. blah blah. Sorry, but I have the right to be skeptical and I'm starting to not believe you mainly because there are no hard fact. Just my opinion.
