Clean it with dishwasher soap and a toothbrush, just be careful around the parts that should be waxed. Then use "Mothers Back to Black"

I did a rush job waxing before the winter last year and didn't do a very thorough job removing wax from my fog light housing and now I'm having a hard time removing it.

Any solvents perhaps??

THX in advance.
3M adhesive remover, you can find it at pep boys, 6 or 8 oz black and gold metal can like what paint thinner and such are sold in. Does and amazing job and leaves the surface ready to take whater plastic dressing you prefer.
