Removing wax from black plastic?
I use simple green and a tooth brush or similar type brush. I think just about any type of degreaser will work. I do recommend that you water it down quite a bit though if you try this.
I detail quite a few cars on a monthly basis and this works really well for me. I got the idea from a professional detailer who mostly details exotics and high end cars.

I'm going to mask off the areas and try it in this order if they don't work:
Water, diluted dish detergent, and a tooth brush
Adams 100% Smooth Peanut Butter and a tooth brush
Griots Dried Wax Remover

You might think I am crazy, but I have been detailing cars on the side for years. I get this question often, and all of the previous mentioned suggestions do work to an extent. The best method that I have found is to use one of those Pink Pearl erasers by Paper Mate. Just rub it on the trouble spot until the white stains disappear.
