Plasti-Dipped Chrome Ring and Lip!!
I finally decided to bite the bullet and plastip the chrome ring and lower lip. Just wanted to share with everyone! Sorry in the after pics the car is dirty.

Thanks for the comments! It was my first time taking the bumper off any car I have owned and doing something like so I was pretty happy with how everything turned out. I like the look with or without the lip painted, but really love it with it painted. I think it gives it a nice aggressive look. My wife noticed it was different and looked good so that is really saying something haha.

Thanks for the additional comments. I did use the Plasti-Dip product. Other people have said it has held up very well for them. I just made sure to let it dry about 1 hour in between coats. I did 4 coats on the chrome ring and 5 on the lip. It seems like pretty durable stuff.
certainly not the first to do this, but it does look better then stock.
My only neg on it is that you should have went a little wider, to match the width of the grill peice as it meets the lip.

Thanks Rocky and West Bound. I thought about going a little wider, but liked the look of being lined up on the edges of the ring and just going down. I think the other way looks great too though.
