I just bought a few sq feet of DiNoc to wrap some interior parts...depending on how that goes, I might try this out! Did you use two separate pieces for the ring? I want to avoid any seams if possible...

nope used a whole piece, it was difficult on the last corner, ripped a little, but other then that good. i didnt use a heat gun or anything but that would have caused it not to rip and would have formed better. i basically got a 3x5 sheet and cut out what i didnt want and used the rest for other things, like the hood scoop piece that i cut out of the middle ring.

Is that the rip I see in the top-left?

I wish I would have thought about it a bit more before I placed my order...another foot of material would have been enough to do the ring, too.

3m dinoc will not last unlike plasti-dip, too much on my taste. Plain black is still the best!!!

you wanna fly me out to miami ill help ya hahaha . its really not all that difficult just have a little patience, give yourself enough roof with the cf and you should be all set. i laid the sheet out on a table, but the ring over, marked about 3 inches on each side. then cut the ring out of the cf. then like i said used the inner piece to wrap the scoop...which was more of a pain in the *** believe it or not
