Fender Flares

Disclaimer: This is NOT my car.

This is what fender flares look like on the back of a Sportback.

I am curious to see what they would look like up front, as well. Does anyone know of a 9G Lancer (RA or otherwise) that has completed this setup? I am very interested in this.

I'm not a fan. Makes it look like an RX-8.

Face => Palm

I understand that. I am not necessarily interested in going through that much trouble to run a wider wheel setup, though. I am just curious if anyone has heard of a 9G Lancer with a complete set of fender flares. I don't hate the way that the rear looks. The front may turn out to be hideous, in which case I might reconsider.

I did search around on multiple forums for this. I still haven't found anything. I was hoping that evil03 might chime in.

Looks ok, but I personally would have had it moulded in higher up the panel.

Also really makes it look like it needs wider sideskirts.

Has anyone found a front on or slightly angled front shot of this car yet????

I have my eye on a set of 18x9.5 ET30 wheels are going to need these fender flares. If you pull the fenders all the way into the over arches, it is such a big help fitting on more aggressive setups. I can't believe that I never thought of doing something like that before.

Hmm, not bad. The front fenders don't seem to line up correctly with the front bar though.

I was looking at doing something similar to this a while ago but never eventuated. I might have to revisit this when the funds build back up. Exo X SB FTW!!!!

i just decided to get rid of it. i dont plan on having the car for more than a year and the 3+ grand i would drop into it getting it installed, new wheels and everything. thats 3 grand im not getting back when i try to sell it down the road. im not in a big rush to sell it but if i dont, i might keep it and put it on.

yeah with mien i pretty much flared my fenders out some, if you put mine next to another lancer you would notice the flare, and im still slightly rubbing in the back. i would get something like this but it just looks too unnatural for the lancer. probably just gonna have to run some neg camber at this point
