I don't like the $400 price tag. Why are the Evo ones $300, but RA is $400?

evo: bigger market-> more buyers-> more sales-> price can become more reasonable

ralliart: tiny market-> very, very few buyers-> very little sales-> price sucks

simple economics.

I have a double degree in Finance and Economics....and I don't buy it. It only works like that on paper, when something has to be made from scratch (i.e. large capital outlay). As with everything else Ralliart vs Evo, the equitable RA parts are cheaper, despite the smaller market. Of course this only applies to companies, small private vendors suffer from other economics laws (node to gccruz, keep going), and are forced to price higher or go out business.
But for large companies like APR:
1) you take on projects based on marginal cost, not hypothetical figures as if you had to lay out for new capital.
2) You price discriminate to the consumer; those who signal by purchasing the non-premium car, are saying they are unwilling to pay a premium for complimentary goods
Class dismissed

Still looks good, just price the thing correctly

I'm sure if you contact APR they can work something out. Remember everyone has to get a cut somewhere.....

As far as the Rods... you dont need to run the Rods but the rods ARE functional as I know someone who broke their Splitter but not having the Rods installed.

i guess they suppose that the few ralliart owners that would spend 300 on this part wouldn't mind paying 400?
