Rexpeed CF Armrest (sneak preview)

This product has yet to be released, but will go into production soon according to Derek. Well I've been bugging Derek from Rexpeed for months to come out with a carbon fiber armrest to replace the nasty stocker. Rexpeed finally made the first one and I was able to get my hands on it. Love it! Its not a armrest cover like the other one on the market, but a full replacement of the OEM pad. The old pad needs to be remove (easily done) and the cf armrest is screwed into the stock bracket. Perfect fitment, what you expect from Rexpeed. I wasn't given a release date or a final price, but please send your questions to Derek at Rexpeed. Well on with the pics of this must have for all Evo interiors.

I'd be afraid I get in the car, lean on it and crack the sum-gun.

Actually the bottom will be completely covered with the stock plastic bracket. Once you remove the armrest pad, the plastic bracket remains and then the cf armrest is placed on it. All you see is carbon fiber goodness!

Why is Mr. HI getting all the Rexpeed love?

Personally that is starting to get too much CF for my car. Maybe if it was dry?

Looks clean. Anyone care to guess a ballpark price on this? I know nothing about CF pricing.

I have to have it. My armrest is pretty nasty from my elbow. Sometimes I don't get all the grease from work off before I leave and it rubs off on the console. This will be perfect. Easy to clean too.

My guess would be somewhere between $100 and $130.
