Storage question

I just bought a used beater Honda to drive to work every day to save money on gas and lower insurance costs. Not only that, I can now get projects done on my Ralliart and not have to rely on it every day.

Unfortunately, I have an apartment and my two cars park outside, nowhere to store a car indoors. I plan on driving my car on the weekends and on days to work with bad weather. What are some ideas to help protect the car when it's sitting around all week?

Rent a storage unit. You can rent climate controlled ones....just dont forget to pay ur bill or your cars gonna end up on storage wars lol.

There are all-weather car covers that let air in /out but not water so your paint / clearcoat don't suffer. I think it's called NOAH fabric? I had one on a car I parked outside and didn't drive much, cost me about $250. Water from morning mist would bead right off of it, but I would take it off during rain just in case. So you could try that.

if your driving it weekly not much that you have to do, motor wise. Look into a cover, but if not get wheel covers to protect the tires and wheels from the sun. it actually does take a toll on the tires.

Maine concern in storing cars otherwise
-jack car so no flat spots on tires
-remove battery put inside( not on concrete)
-full tank of fuel
-new oil.

After looking into a storage unit, that was not feasible for the monthly costs. I did some research on all-weather car covers, bought a nice cover that's waterproof, UV proof, good for snow and wind, specifically designed for each model, and fleece lined so that it won't scratch the paint. I'll give the car a nice bath and throw it on, good to go. On the weekend, the car comes out from under the cover and runs the road.
