Question WORKS vs HKS

Which cams are better with GT35, WORKS 269 or HKS 280?
Spool up,throtle responce etc...

I can't imagine the 280's being any good for throttle response, off idle driveability or spool up. They have to be all top end.

I know the HKS 280's are 10.2 mm both intake and exhaust.

there are many factors that will determin that. If you want top end go with the 272 or the 280 cams but I would not recomend the 280 cams with a stock head but for midrange I have had great results from the 264 HKS cams...

with the 264 cams the driveability was great now with 780 injectors and 272 cams the idel and slow speed is not the same my car seems to run fat on the bottom now. I can not compare spool because now I have ported the head I make more boost at lower rpm now..

I think the lift on the 280's is 10.8 intake and 10.2 exhaust (same as the 264's / 272's), not 10.2 for both sides.

Its the only reason I havent really considered buying any yet (from works)

I thought so also but i checked HKS's site and its the same on both sides

I'm not the biggest HKS fan,but when it comes to cams, for the money, you really can't beat them for the evo.works cams are cool but i don't see alot of people raving about them.
