Quick Question

I'm considering swapping my stock headlights for the MR headlights and I was just wondering what work has to be done because I heard it isn't plug and play completely. By the way I have the SSL package so I don't know if my headlights are prewired for everything anyway. Last, will the HIDs on the MR headlights be the same as my HIDs on my evo right now and will I still be able to adjust them?

A lot of questions, but some answers would help please.

As far as I know, the HID's are the same on all Evo's. The foglights are the problem. You have to buy that special harness to use the foglights. Your best bet would just be to have your stock headlights blacked out instead of getting the MR ones. Cheaper and a lot easier.

Are you looking for the HIDs or the style? My suggestion is send you stocks to EvoDave and than buy a HID Kit.

Lol I'm trying to do both... keep the HIDs but have the style. I sent a pm to EvoDave but he never answered though.

EvoDave you mentioned you can get the top signal to look chromish. Can you give me a specific picture of how it would look like.

Thanks.

the foglight harness is different. the jdm ones require a h11 bulb.

I had an h11 hid kit from my rsx sittin around., so thats what i swapped in there. I've seen dave's work on here, it's good stuff, but when i got the evo, i said i was goin the real stuff, after seeing so many painted headlights on rsx's.
