evodave blackened tails on tarmac evo

here are a few shots of my evodave's blackened tails after the car was just washed. also what is the best way to get my exhaust shiny again????

I think getting your badging and keyhole done in black or that "british racing black" which is actually a prodrive color thats like a realy dark grayish black thats glossed would look great with your tails. It looks great!

never even thought about painting the keyhole. maybe i'll look into doing that, if i can find out how to remove it...i got the UK badge before even thinking about getting the tails done. i'm not about to spend another $90 though just to get them black...hey dave, ever think about painting the tails in a glossy black to match the paint instead of a flat black???

normally that looks cheesey....sometimes (as in the graphite gray sets i did ) it looks good... in that case i bet it would look nice

ehh i dunno. if it was a crappy paint job i think it would def look cheesy, but a quality paint job sanded down and not too shiny i think would look nice.


Also dave, feel free to use these pics on your website for pics of the black tails on a black evo
