My comment was based upon hotsides going for $249 some places. Doing the math puts the Works housing at $251, hence my previous comment

Tony,
Preliminary testing on our prototype units worked best with the software being tweaked. This would be available to all of our Brain Flash owners. WORKS does intend to put together a few package deals that incorporate the housing, downpipe and/or 10.5 hotside. Stay tuned!

I have the 76mm downpipe and I'll be getting a 10.5T and the O2 housing when it's released. When that happens the donut gasket will cease to be useful. I will be getting a P2 tweak to take advantage of everything as well.

That it combination with the Nisei IC pipes and Works TB should pretty well take full advantage of the intake/exhaust capabilities of the stock cams and turbo.

Works crew,

It has been almost a year since this topic started, I am just a customer like hundred perhaps thousands waiting for the 02 housing to be released.
Everyone on this forum is asking themselves the same questions:

When is that 02 Housing going to be ready?
Why is it taking so long?
what is the hold up?
What price range?
What type of results are we expecting(power, torque spool up, boost, etc)

I know that you guys are working hard to get this product done and with 100% reliability but in my most honest opinion you guys are taking to much time.

I wish you guys success and I will be one of the first customers to try your product but you guys should answer some of my questions and have a steady promise with your loyal customers. People are impatiantly waiting and people are putting up with the delay because we think the product is going to be great but just give us some fact, show us some pics, give us some prices, give us some confirmed launch dates.

Thanks!!

The housings are in production and should be available soon. I haven't been given a solid ETA. While this thread may be a year old, we didn't have the prototype until early this year. Changes were needed, which required another prototype, which requires time. This is truly a one-off affair. Each step along the way we had to ensure quality and fitment were intact. Price has been discussed, but nothing has been finalized. We are still hovering around the $400 mark. Official numbers won't be released until we are able to test with a production unit. Having had one of the prototypes on my car for a brief time I can tell you spool/lag are relatively the same while top end is much improved. A trip to the dyno showed the same numbers before/after (although boost had dropped a few PSI). Once boost was raised to "before" levels, we saw gains of about 15HP. Thanks for your patience and we'll keep you updated when there's more to share.

To clear the air real quick... I signed on to this thread before I was a vendor, as an interested customer. I do not compete with Works at all here, as I don't have a true 3" O2 housing for sale.

That was just the reaction of a past customer of Works to sticker shock! I had both their through the mail P1 and P2 flashes, and to this day, those were the smoothest running tunes I've ever had, or experienced. By far not the most powerful, but BM-freaking-W smooth. Far smoother than a Mitsubishi should be. I've also installed their parts... grade AAA all the way.

Again, just a sticker shocked customer...

With you all the way on this one. The guys at WORKS are awsome and ever part on my car is A++++. I will probably buy this part, in a package even at this price. But the sticker shock is there.
