Works 3" O2 housing rumor's?
Jamie,
What about the testing results?, you said that you tried one of your O2 housing in your own car but you mentioned that the spool up was about the same but significant increase in top end.
We want to see some graphics or some dyno results, some more references, could you elaborate a bit more on your product improvement?
Most of the people like me we have been waiting for this piece for a long time and from the rumor of the price we want to make sure the 02 housing is a money worth investement.
impaciently waiting...
Thanks!!

Our intent is not to require the purchase of the WORKS downpipe in conjunction with the O2 housing. However, there is a reasonable explaination as to why other downpipes may not work (including our own 70mm). It is physically impossible to try and fit a 3" gasket inside a 2.5" (or even a 2.75") hole. The entire purpose of this project was to enlarge the existing design and create a unit the would outflow and outperform the OEM piece. To assure that an O2 housing would fit every downpipe on the market would require the use of the OEM gasket/dimensions. Doing this would mean that the outlet would be siginificantly smaller than the internal dimensions of the housing itself--thereby causing a bottleneck in exhaust flow. This is not acceptable for what we have set out to accomplish.
The number two question about this unit has been "Will this fit the _________ pipe?" Honestly, it's not feasible to try and obtain every single pipe out there to see what could work and what won't. The bottom line is that if the downpipe in question is capable of accepting the donut gasket, then it should work. The only 100% fitment confirmation is the WORKS 76mm DP. After all, the both the pipe and the housing have been designed in conjunction with one another since their inception.
I hope this helps clear thing up somewhat. No, they're not here yet
WORKS thanks everyone for their patience (especailly those with deposits). You won't be dissappointed. Stay tuned!

Jamie,
Just wondering, would chnging to a 10.5 outlet at the same time be a good idea. What do you think the overall gains would be? Would a reflash be required with the change of both of these parts and do you guys offer that?
