I would suspect that WORKS will package the O2 housing with the downpipe and/or the rest of our Exhale exhaust components for added savings Stay tuned!

Im skeptical on a first run production for this item...ive seen several manufatures produce uneven surface's on the o2 housing (from the turbine housing to o2 housing mating point)

Are your's guarenteed from defect?

That's the beauty of having a cast o2 housing. You don't have to worry about flange warpage during manufacturing. I had a tubular o2 housing on my old GSX and had the same issue. When I had the o2 housing off the car, the flange bowed pretty bad. It would flatten itself after tightened the bolts down. The flange surface was actually machined flat before I installed it. The heat cycles probably annealed my o2 housing and caused my flange to warp.

After the piece is cast, the flanges will be machined flat. Structurally, the cast piece will be MUCH stronger compared to a welded tubular piece because there is much more material. Cast is the only way to go for an o2 housing IMO.

Well said Mark WORKS is scrutinizing every little detail of the housing to ensure proper fitment and performance. Rest assured that it won't be released until we're 100% satisfied.

Yes! All the stock mounting points are utilized... it's a perfect fit.

This housing may not fit other brand downpipes. If your downpipe uses the stock donut gasket, chances are that you will need to upgrade to a true 3" Downpipe from WORKS.

Thats good to hear, but it sucks I have a Perrin downpipe already coated and been mounted for almost a year now. Finally a O2 housing that has the bolt on the side like the stock one, wow, this really makes me want this. I really would like see the gains of this product before I buy it though (dyno sheets). I definately got to give a a for a quality part. I will be looking forward to the data.

I was talking to Tyler about my TXS 3" Downpipe and it might fit mine. Mine is a true 3" downpipe as well. When its available, I'm going in to test fit it.
