Lancer Evolution 4G63 final model (JDM)
Lancer Evolution 4G63 final model (JDM)
Nice find!
If you look at the reflection on the ground, the car appears to have the "Diamond Black" finish BBS wheels and some sort of front lip - both features of the forthcoming US IX SE models. Also if you look at the Design section, there is a small photo that shows the Recaros with the Red stitching that will be found on the US IX SE models.

u know what? thats kinda sad just to read that. but u know what, at least the 4g63 will be in the list of "legendary" ( for lack of better word) engines. 2jzgte, b18c series ( yes honda) ej22b (the jdm sti one ) sr20det, rb26dett. the engine has had a great run for mitsubishi for like what, over a decade. even though they are moving on to, and i dont know, better engine, the 4g63 will always be loved among us car lovers whether u drive a mitsubishi or not. hell, i dont even drive one and i always come to evom.net to read what u have done to the ur cars, whether ams has achieve a new highest hp with their turbo kit, newbies getting flamed by warrtalon for not using search, seen crashed evo that brought tears to my eyes because of the smashed up cars, tragically lost a few friends due to accidents, and other stuff. bottom line whether u guys know me or i know u, it doesnt even matter, i love u guys. u guys made this place fun for me to come and read all the stuff.

As the 4G63T comes to rest, the community will live on just as Dsmers have. 4g63 is all we do. Its in our blood and we feel it everytime we tapped that gas pedal. I must agree with racerx. After seeing things come and go, after being on this board for 3 years, I will forever appreciate the people we have on EvoM. This is by far the most popular board and as long as there are 4G63s out there, we will most likely still be here. As for Mitsubishi, they made incredible accomplishments with this motor. The 4G63 kept Mitsubishi's image pretty clean depsite all the scandals and all. The Lancer Evolution shows people that it doesnt take more than $30k to beat cars that CEOs drive. Hold on to your evos and please dont trash them. They are valuable as there are only a limited amount created. Let the 4G63 dominate all while they last.

wait so when are the 9.5's coming to america??? does this mean the new evo IX SE models wont have the 4g63 in them??? when does this new motor come into affect... this is horrible news and almost brings tears to my eyes as i wanted to get the evo IX mainly because of the 4g63 and its superiority... is it to late for me to get a brand new evo IX with the 4g63???
