I agree with most also when I say I will look else where when X comes. The new STi looks hot too... but X gets X'ed with me. Some call it old fashioned to not adapt to paddle shift saying it's da sh** and ohh it's so awesome because Ferrari's come with it. I say shut up you idiots, Ferrari makes cars for rich lazy people. Me, I want full control on what my car does, without a clutch your leaving it all to the computer to drive for you. Next you people will say you want the car to drive the race track for you, you just sit and watch.

Sorry to ask stupid questions guys but I'm really curious to find out what the difference in engine is between the (Evo VIII vs Evo IX) I came from Honda I-Vtec Type-s RSX and honestly this is my very first Mitsu I have ever owned!! (don't know jack shizznit about it)

please guys excuse my Ignorance on behalf of my buddies telling me that there's a difference in engine from the Evo VIII to Evo IX another thing is from reading every reply in this thread it sounds like there isn't any difference at all!!

I posted a different thread showing off my Evo VIII and when my buddies told me about this I almost wanted to kill somebody because they also said you can make it even more faster with the same mods as the VIII.

can anyone verify this Info ??

Also can anyone tell me if you can cross engines between Evo IX to Evo VIII possibly drivetrain as well

and BTW I'm not trying to jack the thread!!

Mitsu switching from the 4g63 to the 4b11, reminds me when Ford replaced the push rod 5.0 for the modular 4.6. The 5.0 is a great engine with alot of after market support and the 4.6 was a totally different engine setup with no after market support. Fast foward in time we can see how good an engine the 4.6 has become. Change to an already successful platform can be hard to swallow, i don't think would change if it didn't mean that they would retain there dominance on the street or hamper them from returning to WRC.
