Unfortunately, we haven't seen ANOTHER IX make this power with the cams yet...
oops. went back and read the TT section and realized they didn't have alky. i was thinking they used alky with the cams for some reason. been awhile since i've read it. i'm a turd.......

Well all I know is that my 280exhaust cam didn't do much for me, especially going to the local 1/8th of a mile. Because before with just "tbe, drop in filter, boost controller and I kept running 8.0 and trapping 92 mph.......after the 280 race cam install went back and still hit the 8.0's and trapping 1 mph more. But yeah I guess hks is coming out with some cams for ix and a controller so we'll see what happeneds.

I was one of the first to show my IX's dyno with a 272cam. - I still believe it's offered at least 10whp. Minimum.

I've yet to see a dyno a strong as mine. 21psi, Flashed with intake and full exh.

This graph is with 3gal of 100ct and 26psi. Again - very solid numbers.

Can anyone present a graph of a IX with an intake and full exh, at 26psi - turning in more than 380wtq?

I still believe the cam helps.

joe - it would help if you posted SAE corrected numbers rather than uncorrected

Tanabe Concept G Blue TBE [no cat]
K&n drop in
hallman boost controller [23 psi i believe]
TT flash

i have 325 whp and 301 wtq as of now, anyone who has installed and dyno'd have any idea? Thank you !!!

also, a tune after the cam would yield better #'s then just putting the cam in and no flash right?
Don't tell me you're running that thing without a boost gauge?

I made more power with my Pump gas run Vs. your Pump gas run on my 2003 9.8 Hotside evo. You should be way higher ona Dynojet, especially with a CAM.

Although your power curve is better then mine and CERTAINLY better bottom end, I can't wait to get my IX, but your power band just dies on the pump gas run, should be like 360WHP on pump.

just checking, cuz on your mods you listed 23 psi I BELIEVE. So leads me to wonder if you were guessing your boost.
