Mr. Cleverly's AMS 2.3L GT35r Evo 9 Dyno Charts 600+ WHP

We've just finished tuning Mr. Cleverlys car for full power here at AMS and we are very happy with the results. The gas that was used is 93 oct, MS109 and C16. The boost levels are 20, 24 and 31 respectively.

These are the power producing mods that I can think of at the moment:

AMS 2.3L Stroker Motor w/ Oliver
AMS Race Head w/ Inconel exhaust valves
AMS GT35r Turbo kit, swain coated, safety wired
AMS VSR Intake manifold
AMS FMIC
AMS LICP and UICP kit, all unions strapped
AMS Surge tank and fuel system, including AMS fuel rail and 1000cc inj
GSC Stage 2 cams
Buschur COP
AEM EMS EVO9
AMS Small battery kit

I'm Jealous, what gets me is the how smooth and consistent each curve is compared to the last. This is going to be one HELL of a Time attack Car.

Looks like Ivan's EVO IX record here at the shop is become pretty stout. Two 600 plus HP EVO IX's in as many weeks.

not a problem dave

Safety wiring is a process alot of track cars undergo. We drill a hole through the side of The head of each bolt, then wire them all together. What this does is prevent each bolt from backing our or coming loose under severe heat conditions. In order for one bolt to come loose it would have to pull each bolt that its wired to loose.

The IC piping is a bit simpler. we weld on two bungs on each end of a IC junction and then wire strap them together so that it would be impossible to pop an IC pipe loose.

It all can be considered a bit overkill by most but those that are serious put as much time and attention into keep the car on the track in prime form the entire session. Losing a race becuase a simple pipe or bolt popped out stinks. We make it hard for that to happen.

WHOOPSSS! Sorry about that Cleverley , shoulda just looked at the ticket.

Import honestly isnt going to make a difference for us, we are not maxing out the gas on the c16 tune, the turbo is out of flow which will create any significant horsepower without creating excessive heat.

Don't worry, I promise it will be fast

Would love to see some pics, and Mr. C- keep me posted if you ever take the car to the track- that thing, if driven right, could be a monster.

Here are a few pics of the car at my friends site, http://www.prowleronline.com/ubb/For...ML/002091.html and yes I know some ppl there don't understand what is happening...

I think the car will be at HIN this weekend at the AMS booth.

The Alcons will not be on the car, which are 6 front and 4 puck rears. Wheels are still in the works.

Chris no worries on the Mispeeling Chubby will give you a special treat.

SMP3000, I might run Topeka at the end of the year with my old Viper buddys at the Viper days event. I have about 250 miles there on the track and really enjoyed it except for the blind sweeper going into one.

Putnam Park is our local track and love it.

The guys at AMS have been a great pleasure to work with, it's taken awhile but when first walked in we were at 2.5 pages now we at 6 or 7 pages. The AMS Guys by far is the Best Shop I have ever dealt with and I have just about done it all.
