Basically Ive been messing with Lancers for six years now. I dont really consider myself a "tuner" for the simple fact that I learned how to notch a block and install
forged internals before I knew how to do a simple thing like change the brakes. I do all my own work though so I feel better about it. I came about the 08 Lancer by mistake, I was chating with a dealer about how I was looking for another truck to replace my old timer one. I saw an ES 08 there and said to him if I wanted one Id get an ES for the sake of lighter weight, a manual, and it had the basic concept just milder which is fine cause putting some money into it was the intention anyway. I gave the guy an impossible price and budget....he fell for it. Not to walk away without a steal I took it home that night.
Mistakes Ive seen and done in the past kept me more cautious and aware this time around. RRM does lancers with attention to detail and so I stuck with them this time.
Im considering turbo but not itching for the boost bug just yet. Parts include:RRM-axle back, pulley, piggy back, header, timing module, V2 intake, springs, sway bar, carbon-front grill, bumper cap, side mirror covers, trunk lip,
license plate surround, splitter. I Did some paint stuff on my own and rims that roll 225 rubber. Result-good lookin sucker, faster than I figured. Future plans-thanks to the deal with pay off coming soon, I guess turbo is all thats really left lol!! We'll see.

Well I guess its my turn now. Bought my Lancer back on May 15th 2007 after my Ford Contour's transmission decided to grenade itself and cost more than the car was worth to have it fixed. Had a few things done to the Contour. Some of the SVT Contour components found their way onto my car for a slight boost in HP. Had a SRI intake as well. So I was no noob to the moding scene when I was on the look for my next car. Shopped around for a bit and drove a few cars. Tried a Chevy Cobalt, Dodge Calliber, Pontiac G6, Toyata Corolla and Scion tC, and finally the Lancer. Lets just say I fell in love right away with the look of the car. First I got the RRM SRI, and a month or so later I bought the RRM Rear Strut Tower Bar. And for ****s n grins I got the RRM Badge for the rear of my car. Then there was about a year long gap where I got nothing done due to money issues. Well money issues solved and this past Christmas and New Years time frame I received my new RRM/CarbonTrix Carbon fiber Mirror Covers and my Vortex Generator via Ricoo. Then about a 6 month lull where I did nothing and now my newest mods are my RRM Timing Control Box and my RRM/CarbonTrix Carbon Fiber Splitter. Gotta drill the hole for the back mount still....the one already there doesn't exactly line up right. My story won't end here but for the sake of this show it does. There will be more to come in the future for me. I kinda have big plans for my lancer in the long run. So here are the pictures, hope you all like what I've done. Good Luck to everyone else in this nice little friendly competition.
If you want to see the moat of flames I will still do it Rob
but I thought sunset was a nice touch
These are in no certain order...sorry...
Here is a link for all the original sized pictures. Some details are lost when they get shrunk down for normal viewing by Photobucket. So here they are unaltered for the RRM guys to look at
