I guess I'll post my car... another 03 Lancer to the fight! hahaha.
Sorry for the old pictures (yeah these are the same ones as in my build thread) but I have been working so much lately I haven't had time to take pictures...and that's presuming I would even take pictures of the dirty girl lol it's been raining so much in Jersey the past few weeks that she's gotten wet but not clean.

Not much of a story for ya but basically my dad got me a car when I got my license that was automatic [a 2006 Honda Civic]... I drove the car for a while and found it ok, I mean it got me from point A to B and so on. However there was something missing in it.
After I got into college (and subsequently dropped out opting to go to a trade school to learn auto mechanics) my dad was having some problems with another car of ours and was thinking about junking it and getting a new one. Well after a few conversations with him I managed to talk him into getting me a new car instead. After some research I found a 2003 Mitsubishi Lancer OZ Rally 5 Speed Manual for sale in NY. And my eyes widened with the sight of that. I don't know why but I love to drive manual muuuch more than I could ever love automatic.
After about a month of communication, mis-communication and waiting for the Motor Vehicles to send another title that was clear of any and all leans... Me and my father drove up and picked up the car, filled the gas tank and I drove my first 5 speed car 75 miles back to the border of Jersey and PA.
I've loved the car ever since I got it--despite many a problem here and there--and I've certainly given it lots of miles. Bought it at 76k in late April 08, now has 114,500 miles.
Hope that wasn't too much of a bore for you guys. Eventually when the car goes and would cost too much to fix or keeps breaking on me I think I might try turning it into a track car, doing something like that turbotime is doing with the 4g63t + RWD conversion. Buuut that's a long way off. In the mean time I hope you enjoy my "Labrador Black" 2003 Mitsubishi Lancer OZ Rally.
Current Mods:
RRM Short Ram Intake w/Carbon Fiber heat shield
Apexi N1 Cat back Exhaust (not pictured cuz I'm lazy and weather has been nasty)
Tein Basic Damper Coilover suspension kit (dropped about an inch from stock)
And sadly, that's it... but more to come as I'll soon be sending my paychecks directly to RRM as well as my first born child and left foot...right arm... ok ok they're not that expensive lol just joking around.
