Take two....
Basically Ive been messing with Lancers for six years now. I dont really consider myself a "tuner" for the simple fact that I learned how to notch a block and install
forged internals before I knew how to do a simple thing like change the brakes. I do all my own work though so I feel better about it. I came about the 08 Lancer by mistake, I was chating with a dealer about how I was looking for another truck to replace my old timer one. I saw an ES 08 there and said to him if I wanted one Id get an ES for the sake of lighter weight, a manual, and it had the basic concept just milder which is fine cause putting some money into it was the intention anyway. I gave the guy an impossible price and budget....he fell for it. Not to walk away without a steal I took it home that night.
Mistakes Ive seen and done in the past kept me more cautious and aware this time around. RRM does lancers with attention to detail and so I stuck with them this time.
Im considering turbo but not itching for the boost bug just yet. Parts include:RRM-axle back, pulley, piggy back, header, timing module, V2 intake, springs, sway bar, carbon-front grill, bumper cap, side mirror covers, trunk lip, license plate surround, splitter. I Did some paint stuff on my own and rims that roll 225 rubber. Result-good lookin sucker, faster than I figured. Future plans-thanks to the deal with pay off coming soon, I guess turbo is all thats really left lol!! We'll see.

ROAD/RACE
Come on people get your cars up on here. I want at least some competition, not to put down those that have posted already in any way. I just want more than 3-4 cars against mine.
Rob maybe put a post about this in the show and shine section and link it to here. Not sure how many actually check the general section on a daily basis.

The criteria in the first post is pretty clear but we want to combine all the criteria. We want to see a lot of RRM stuff but not at the sacrafice of having an ugly car. I think you know what I mean.

Thanks. I like my rims-Im not all about the wing and Im looking for other than GTS sideskirts. The GTS front look is all Im going to borrow Im trying to keep it looking obviously different side by side in at least some areas.

-my feelings at the moment.
