Phyllis got some new shoes.

I finally put on a set of Blizzak WS60s (205/60 R16) on and I'm ready for the Michigan snow storms! Bring it on Michigan, bring it on. At least I'm not running the stock Yoko A10s this year,

I found some beater rims (16x7 +45) on craigslist off of a '99 Dodge Intrepid and painted them black. I have to say, they look pretty decent.

Onto the pictures!

***Edit: Pictures processed and updated! See post #15 for before shots if you want to compare***

I'm surprised the 16s fit. They don't look bad at all. Have fun in the snow!

^They just barely clear the front calipers...prolly 1/8~1/4 inch gap.

Thanks, I'm looking forward to the snow this year

^Very, very slight.

I use Canon Digital Rebel XT with the kit lens for these, trying to master the kit lens before I move on to a better one heh.

Photography is hard. I recently bought a Nikon D5000 and still haven't been able to take any good pictures of my car yet.

If you're having trouble getting crisp low-light photos because the camera moves when you press the shutter release, a simple alternative is to use the self-timer when shooting night shots. Put the camera on a tripod, set the timer, hit the shutter release and walk away. 10 seconds later you have a nice, vibration-free photo

You are aware the spare in the trunk is a 16", right?

OP, what paint did you use to paint the rims?

^What spare?

As for the paint...I don't remember the name. Haha, it was wheel/rim paint from autozone...got some black and clear. Needed 2~3 cans of each for 3 coats of each on all four wheels.

Thanks man! My little old 8MP XT works great...sometimes I forget that it can take some pretty good shots if I take the time to compose them .

You could probably find a good deal on a 8MP XT these days... I grabbed mine in July of last year for a little under 300...I used a buddy's employee discount & it was wrongly on clearance for the week . Get one, do eet!
