I'm thinking about reshooting the whole grill area and chrome in matte black while it's in the shop, but I'm not sure on that one.

I ended up going with Works sway bars with the AST coilovers. The combo is really amazing.
Any pictures of the Do-luck trunk???

Car stayed in the shop a few extra days because we decided to custom fab the Do-luck lip to the front bumper. Do-luck trunk is at paint along with badges. I'll have pictures by the end of the week.

DO NOT ever go to DG Motors. They are one of the worst shops in our area.

If you're ever around, let me know so I can take some photos of your car! It's going to look awesome when it's done!

I bought my GT-R with cash 2 years ago and have been a member at NAGTROC since that time (under the same name). I could dip into family savings to help my friend, but I chose to sacrifice something that is primarily for my own pleasure since it is, after all, my best friend who has peroitoneal carcinomatosis. My friend is not insured. He has been getting state and federal assistance for the last three months, but certain medications related to problems ancillary to the primary disease, are not being covered. He is also no longer working so the bills are also piling up.

I recently sold my 550i (in the picture) because it wasn't being used and the Mercedes (also in the picture) is an Evosport tuned deathtrap with no back seat. Alas, I need a car I can drive every day that can also accomodate my son. The Lancer MR seemed to fit the bill.

In any case, the GT-R was delivered to the buyer tonight and I should be picking up the MR tomorrow or Friday.

I found your "wishing a cobalt on me" pretty funny.
What the hell do you do to be able to buy a GTR with cash?

I don't think it says anything about the GT-R, but it does speak well for the Evo. I'm sure results would be different on a bigger track.

+1

so true! It compliments the evo more than bashing the GTR.

I have a evo and a CL500 too and i was about to get a GTR too, but ended up getting the Evo X MR. Nothing to regret at all believe me my dad is having fun with my evo these days and im telling him to get one but he says that he will probably get a GTR in the future.

would love to hear more about your experience with Works on the tune. I am reading so much conflicting information and I really want to do it once and right, Very tasteful mods on your car btw. I am newly married to a new WW MR myself and I am loving the car.
