Im curious, is it possible to obtain better results with varied boost control settings when using an EBC, like the Profec B-Spec or even E01, coupled with the AEM EMS unit? I figure the EMS would do the job fine, but apparently is too "coarse" with its points to be able to accurately control as well as an EBC would. Just trying to gauge if its best to go with an MBC, EBC and EMS or the GM Solenoid and EMS system.

 

I like using an EBC with my AEM setup. But I do see several benifits using the GM Boost sylinoid with the AEM. You kind of give one up for the other, if you are going strait to one you might as well learn the GM with the AEM while you are at it. As in a MBC I just don't like them and have never had that great of luck with them on anything honestly (In reference in holding steady boost).
