I've been happy with my PLX M300, even though it's not the best sensor in the world I like having a $45 replacement since I run C16 frequently.

We run the Innovate LC-1 and gauge instead of the LM1 the LM! is to big and with the aem no need to data log. the LC-1 with the gauge has worked flawlessly for us on two aem cars and we will keep using them. plus the sensors cheap like $80 for a replacement bosch sensor.

I believe the new one does that was re-designed. The part number is 30-4100 and comes with different faces and bezels to best match the color scheme of your interior if that is what you want.

So exactly how is this hooked up to the EMS?

The answer is kind of beyond the scope of a simple post but basically the analog output of the LM-1 or LC-1 is wired to the O2#2 input on the EMS. There are some minor hoops you have to jump through to set up the analog output of the LC-1 and to calibrate the EMS. It's not hard to do but yo need to be able to read the pin out documentation for the EMS and also understand how to program the LC-1.

I really like my zeitronix mated to my ems. It just works + the zeitronix display of boost, egt, and afr on one display is just clean.

The pinout for the AEM EMS is pin 76 for o2#1 and pin 75 for o2#2. They are on the D plug and when looking at the EMS with the thumb tabs to remove the connectors on top it is the far right plug and pin 75 is 5 over from the left top of the D plug and pin 76 is 6 over from the left top of the D plug. Both wires are white by the way.

Okay, now were getting somewhere. So what am i going to do with the other 2 wires coming out of the analog wire? Or am i just going to put the signal wire to one of the pinouts and be done with it? Thanks

The EMS only requires one input for the o2 sensor which is on pin 75 or 76. Use your 0-5 volt ouput as the wire to connect to the EMS.

Has anyone actually done a LM-1 for the long term hook up? Im thinking about just throwing it in the glove box, then running the wires out the back. So since im hooking up with the EMS i am not going to use the cig. lighter for power. I want to do a permanent wire job right the first time. So i know i need a switched on power source. But i keep seeing different setups for the ground. I personally would like to get the ground as close to the EMS as possible. FWIW, most of the time you want to use the same ground as the EMS. So i want to know, should i splice into the harness ground like afc and solder the connection? Or Find the nearest chasis ground nearest to the EMS? I guess i could ohm it out to find the least resistance between chasis and EMS. Thanks
