What average HP gains?

Hi Guys,

Any experience or info on average HP gains by adding 272 I/E cams PLUS AEM EMS? What are some of your experiences? Thanks!

Go to the registry and look at the dyno sheets. You can do searches. With CAMS you need other supporting mods, intake, intercooler, injectors, downpipe, O2 housing, etc. As I learned the hard way with my VR4 decide what you want to do with your car first. Street, strip, autoX, road race. Then decide a horsepower number...anythat you think you want. Then go to the EVO registry on this site and look at dyno numbers on street gas. Find one in the range you want and check out the mods. Go from there, then search. I bought my car and the supporting mods on this website to get between 350 and 400 whp depending on which person you believe and which dyno you believe. For my daily driver that should be fine. Check my registry if you like.

Looking at your mod list you need a turbo and injectors. Check the TME turbo for sale in the private section...check www.forcedperformance.com for info on it. I'm still searching for 50 posts so i can post in those forums...I've only spent $26,000 in them!

On top of what you have already, I would say 40-60hp tuned.
If you have 300 hp now then you will be right around 350 on pump gas, maybe more/less.

i made 70hp/70ftlb more adding cams, ems, tubular header and injectors.
from an safc, 3" tb exhaust and ic piping + fmic.
its not a fair estimate, but if i were to have a reflashed ecu it would've probably been 50hp/50ftlb gain.
