srs and aem ems

Need Help, car at dealer now!

I took my evo in for a new clutch (ACT HDSS). I got it back and the steering wheel was cocked off 45 degrees, I took it back and it was cocked off 20 degrees the other way. I took it back and they had straightened it, but now the SRS light was on. The non mitsubishi shop who did the work said they don't know why it is on.

I have now taken the car to the dealer and they say that they cannot read any codes because I have an after market ECU. I have talked to my local tuner and he says they have a totally separate SRS reader. But the dealer says they are connected and therefore they cannot help me. AHHHH. Can anyone help. My tuner can't and the dealer can't. What do I do?????

or they forgot to hook it back up. Most steering wheels have a plug that makes the horn work and connects the airbag.

well, even after he reconnects it, he still has to get the srs light reset.
best option is to go to another dealer. tell the other dealer that a shop had to pull the steering colum, which triggered the srs light. tell them that there is no problem with the airbags and i just want it reset.

dont let them look for the problem, tell them what the problem is.

Don't know, but I has a problem with the SRS light being on. Turns out I had a blown fuse and the reverse lights would not come on. Fixed fuse and SRS light went away.

Idea: do not return to this shop for future work.

Wish I had some input for you about the SRS light.
