does the AEM EMS require splicing with the '05 evo? or is there a set harness for it?

 

the aem is plug and play on the 05. i have one in my MR.

 

were do you mount the aem ems were the stock computer is? and with what bracket

i mounted mine on the side of the center console with the velcro.

Those velcros that comes with it are super nice and super stickie.

I sorta want it to be little more discrete though. I don't want my aem installed where everyone can see...

but I still have my stock ecu bolted on the stock location for later on when the emission time rolls in.

 

there is splicing involved to switch to speed density and using the wideband.

 

just take maf sensor wires, 3- splice map sensor in, and I think you could leave the maf sensor in it only reads air temp and doesn't function as maf sensor since you took the maf sensor wires out from the intake manifold.
