Anyone know how long it is going to take AEM to get their forum site back up?

I'm guessing it's a priority for them since I bet they're getting even more calls on the tech line now that the forum is down. If anyone has questions post them up in this forum and we'll see if we can help.

AEM released the 1.19 firmware. Used it today and was happy.

Things like this take time. Especially now that SEMA is here. They are probably having problems with their current host as well.

give it some time. SEMA is their main priority, not the forum. on monday, things should start moving again. in the auto field, this week is like christmas break in highschool!

Sounds like security on the old host server was not up to preventing hacks....so now they are switching.

They are updating the server as well as making some upgrades to it as well. It may be down for a little while but it will be back up soon enough. I am sure there are enough of us on here that can try and help people out the best that we can.

When you switch servers/hosts/whatever... don't you usually have stuff set up to go live on the new one before turning off the old one? The fact is that when we purchased the EMS, part of the deal was that we were getting support on the internet. Also, they only have 1 tech support person that I know of on the phones for EMS and he's impossible to reach for the most part. SEMA is a big deal but I don't think a company AEM's size is sending IT guys to Vegas (ie SEMA in no way should be slowing down AEM getting the forums back up). Apparently they haven't made it a big enough priority. If they did, the site would have been up weeks ago. It's unacceptable at this point!

Did you even read the thread? The original web host was hacked, and the AEM forum destroyed by an anti american hacker. I don't think he backed up all their data for them befor he hacked the site to make it easy for them to move to a new server!
