AC Condensor Fan ?

This was posted by Keith in the AEM fourm.

I have never had good AC cooling at idle (like at a stop light) since I had the AEM EMS installed, and today I was looking at the AC condensor fan (controled by idle5/6) with the AC running and noticed that it was not running! I now have it set up to turn on at 175F coolant temp.

I never liked the AEM control of the main fan, so when I switched to an aftermarket fan I also got a "stand alone" fan control unit for the main fan. It comes on at 60% speed when the AC is activated so I have no worries about setting the condensor fan to come on at 175F coolant temp.

Anyone else have this problem with the AEM controling the AC condensor fan? If it gets warm inside the car at stop lights you may have the problem and not have realized what is causing it... post up!

Keith

Has anyone else had issues with this?

Injector #6 also controls the a/c condensor fan for the LO speed side. The new base maps that I have run into do not have idle 5/6 enabled in Options>Configure Outputs and when I was running on an old 1.03 calibration and had idle 5/6 enabled in Options>Configure Outputs my lights would flicker and so forth.
