Newbie Help

Can someone please explain to me how exactly im supposed to wire things into the ems.

I understand what pins and whatnot. Just not how to get the wires connected to the pins.

I have a lc1 that im going to hook up to the ems. Do I cut the wire on the ecu harness and wire it directly to the plug that goes to the ems? Or can I use a t tap stlye connector? Or am I looking at this in a totally wrong way.

Sorry for the stupid question.

Josh,

Did you give me a call last night. If not hit me up tonight i will help you over the phone.

To answer your question you should solder all your connections and use the supplied pins to use with the Innovate wideband. Once you crimp those wires plug them into the AEM, if you want to splice into the wires use solder.

Josh,

If you dont have any pins, then you will have to splice into the factory harness and solder the connections. If you don't want to cut the stock ECU harness and have time, then contact AEM. I tried searching for the correct pins, but i could not find them. I will keep digging for you and write the pin info here if you need to order some of them.

Josh it goes to pin # 76 on the AEM, look at the diagram i provided.
