1313 vs. 1313U

I'm trying to decide on which one to get. Is there more reasons other than price that many people run the 1313 without WB? I have an LM-1 but was thinking that the 1313U with integrated WB would be better or easier to tune with. Are there problems that people encounter with the built-in WB?

I rarely sell unit with integrated wideband for one of two reasons.
1) The person is never going to tune their own car so they're relying on their tuner to use their own wideband
2) They want a display of the reading which the integrated box doesn't give you. By the time you get the display you might as well have bought the non-u box and got the AEM gauge type wideband separately.

On a side note, I'd be happy to give a great deal on these parts.

Inn Tune has a point!
So if you are going to do the tuning yourself and don't already have a WB then the U version would be a good choice!
Haven't heard of any probs with the U version.

Im also trying to decide which to purchase however I currently do not have anything to monitor the a/f. Im not going to tune the car myself but it might come in handy to have the display, just to keep an eye on things.

good point inn-tune.. but i plan do my own tweaking here and there, and just figured it would be easier to tune to an AFR when it's built-in and datalogs with the EMS.. maybe I'm just not fond of having the big LM-1 always around.. oh the choices

well personally I'd recommend the Zeitronix wideband 02.. its seperate from the AEM, but it does allow you to record, graph and recheck instantly.. also gives you afr and bost down to the 10ths and i have my screen mounted directly to the dash... right where you can see it

id rather not buy a seperate wideband..how much does the Zeitronix cost? I think the zeitronix has more features than I really need since Ill have the AEM.

I currently have the LM-1, but I'm planning to get AEM EMS so a tuner from oversea will be able to send me map via e-mail rather than sending my ECU.
Wich is better for him? Log everything with AEM or send the AEM log + the LM-1 log?

After a few of my customers had nightmares with their Zeitronix units I don't sell them anymore. Just a heads up. The LM-1 and UEGO both work very well.

Log everything in the AEM so it's all together. A/F data without RPM, load, etc. on the same graph is just about useless to a tuner.

BuCKxWiLD if you're going to be tweaking your own car then do need some wideband. If you want one with a gauge the Innovate standalone gauge kit is another option. It combines the tiny LC1 with a nice gauge.

There's also a new option available with the release of the AEM serial gauge. You can buy a 1313U box and use the serial gauge to display wideband readings whenever you DON'T have a computer hooked up to the serial interface on the EMS.
