plugs? ignition system???

i'm wondering what plugs/ or what type of ignition system are you guys running with bigger turbo's?? i'm having problems with misfire @ 19psi with bpr7es's otherwise a stock ignition with a t3/t67 t350 .63ar turbo
thanks for the input
my logs don't show any dips as far as misfire or jumps in knock so it's real slight but i can feel it...

I've got a never used AEM C2DI system that I was going to post up for sale. If you're interested shoot me a PM.

I wouldn't bother. Try BPR8ES gapped to .22-.24. Sometimes I will foul mine out and I will get misfire at high rpms and then I just change them out and I'm good again for quite a while. I have AEM as well and stock ignition.

As a temporary measure try gapping your plugs to 24. You may want to switch to 8's as mentioned, but that's more related to cylinder temps. Check your EGTs with a good gauge and probe and see if it's necessary.

An HKS Twin Power or AEM CDI box would resolve your issue in a more proper fashion. I'd look into picking one up.

Ya again just to restate the same I had to run my plugs a .022 for a bigger turbo otherwise misfire was bad. I still ran the BPR7ES though, just never have had good luck with the 8s.

i had br7es's and they would foul in a month. I would have to constantly change them out. Since then i have gone back to iridiums in 7 range and added hks dli2 and no more misfire and alot longer life to the plug. oh yeah gapped to .22

I use Denso iridium IW24 plugs and the HKS DLII ignition box for the evo with my EMS. Works flawlessly, had my AMS 3071 kit up to 24 psi on pump gas. Keeps on kicking.

I don't think that plugs and a good gap are a dependable solution at all. With my t61 setup, and br8es's gapped to .020, I would still break up and at times lose 2 cylinders down the track. I heard that MSD works well.

You are right. While gapping my plugs to .024 @ 30psi worked up here at 3400 ft I tried down in Phoenix @ 1300 ft or so and I was breaking up at anything above 21psi or so even at a .019 gap. Ignition is the only reliable solution I guess. Too bad it costs a lot of money

I could only manage a horrific 11.8 @ 120 because of ignition break up. Oh, it didn't help that the track sucked *** in the lane I kept getting. Can you say ice skating in first. The 11.8 was the one time I got the good lane.

I don't believe the AEM C2di's new version is available yet. HKS dli2 is a great unit, compact, and with the vehicle specific harness it is plug & play. MSD dis 2 or dis 4 are other comparable cdi's to the AEM unit. After that the price start's to really increase when looking at M&W igntion boxes, Autronic units, or even Motecs.

If you are really price concious and know how to do wiring I would look into a used DSM ignitor and coil pack setup, they have been proven to work upwards of 30psi and plug gaps of .025 and higher.

I hear you dude, my best last year was a pittifull 11.60 @ 126 b/c of break up. Then my motor blew
