EMS on 2.3l stroker?

I am currently getting my 2.3l stroker installed and I will be using a EMS on the car. Will the EMS basemap be a decent starting point or will this need to be completely custom?

I don't even know if the stock ECU will run the 2.3 correctly!

I am trying to minimize downtime and schedule everything correctly. I will be getting the car professionally tuned I just need to know if I can install the EMS and drive the car home from the shop.

Will it just not start/run at all?

thanks

Your ecu will run the car. I would at the least use piggy back systems to accomodate for the added displacement/air that the engine will have. So in other words, if the stock ecu will run it, so will the AEM. Just make sure you make any needed changes so you have a safe drive and get it tuned asap. Good luck.
