ok im not to familiar with the aem unit so im asking all yall folks. my friend has just bought an evo to copy me..lol. anyways hes comming up on his emmsions soon. and he says with the aem ems that it doesnt carry obd2 since its a standalone. and me used to work at a place that does emmisions knows that the aem wont give out a readiness signal so theres no way to get around it besides switching back to the stock ecu and also he has to put cats back on. please explain how yall passed emmissions or what you guys did to get it to pass.

Find someone to sell you the stickers. Thats the easiest way to go about it. If not, u get to de-install everything then re-install. Have fun.

 

returned back to maf. (im speed density)
swap back stock ecu.
put stock turboback back on.
