First Startup / Config

All,

What am I all going to need to setup for the first startup of my car? I have the latest aem pro app, and I updated the ecu to 1.19. I loaded the base cal for the evo8, but I know I need to update it to match the specs on my car.

I'm not sure the info I need to give. So I guess if someone could tell me what info I need to offer that'd be a good help.

Keep in mind, all I'm trying to do is the initial startup. I'm going to let the tuner tune it for road use.

maf or converting to map is the first question. If you need a definitive guide, I wrote one up for myself on all the wiring and locations with pics. Its a MS Word doc. I would post it but its kinda big. Let me know and I will email it to you.

Yes, I'll be using the AEM 3.5 bar map sensor, GM boost solenoid, and GM (I think, it's been so long since I bought it) IAT.

Thanks for the link, I'll read it now.

Edit: Ok, I'll go through the wizards. I also have the aeromotive a1000 fuel pump. Hmmm, time to read more

msg Sean Ivey (Sean I) and ask him to make you a base map per your mods. Trust me... you'll save a lot of time.

I'm no expert, but I created a newbie set-up thread for a MAP conversion, It too is a good place to start.
