Any Tuners or Experts near Cincinnati?

I was just wondering if there are any advanced tuners in the Cincinnati area or close by who would be willing to walk me through the basics of the AEM EMS.

I just purchased this unit and it was installed and tuned over the weekend. I've been reading the user manuals but a lot of it seems Greek to me. I'm one of those folks who learns more by watching someone else. (On the job training)

I'd be willing to pay a fair hourly price for a couple of hours unless someone just really really wants to be helpful.. HAHA - I'm not looking to change the current custom tune at this time but would like to know more about datalogging, and some of the other features as well.

PM me if your interested and have the knowledge to do this. I would be willing to drive to someones house to lesson the inconvienence for them.

Thanks,
Mike

Not going to learn a thing in a couple hours.... maybe a couple days???

I recomend reading the aem efi basics and aem pro manual about 5 times each, that should answer alot of your questions.

Thanks for your feedback TJ.

I should have been a little more specific. I would just like to learn a little bit more about the basics such as things I should look for when Data Logging, or knock, how much is too much. Little things such as this.

I was hoping I could find someone who's been using an AEM for awhile in my area that could provide a few helpful hints.

I've been reading the manuals and I'm picking up things slowly and I'm sure as I continue reading and reading, I'll learn even more. I just want to be able to learn some of this stuff too by watching someone who know's what there doing.

Thanks,
Mike

Did you go to AEM's forum? The guys over there are willing to view logs, compare data or whatever. Good luck getting the likes of Buschur or Switzer to sit down and explain tuning. Although Tim is a good guy. I have alot of EMS experience and could give you a few pointers. But like ky6ytc said, it would take some time to really get it.
