If you are running a GT35 yes it will make more power if your tune stays consistent up to the amount of boost you are running. When I say consistent I mean linear on fuel and ign timing as you rise in pressure. If you are on a stock block you are probably tuned to 28psi for safety so this task would be at your own risk.

Really all you can do is test but if you don't know what to look for I am sure you would be much happier with a motor running 28psi than one running 0 because it blew up. The question you ask is not a straight line question so no one can give you safe advice except the person who tuned it for you in the first place or an experienced tuner sitting and evaluating your car and its current tune.

more boost = more power

why stop at 30? I say go for 35, or even 40.

[/sarcasm]

No one can answer that question unless they are a tuner who is viewing logs of your car and knows ALL of the parts installed. If the guy who tuned it stopped at 28 psi, then he probably did so for a reason. I'm not saying it was a good reason, but with the information you gave, NO ONE can answer that question definitively.

If you are on a stock bottom end, you probably want to stop at about 500whp if you want to keep your stock internals INSIDE the engine.
