1.19 is not a map, its the firmware that the EMS uses....

just to to the AEM forums and get it from there, then upload it to your EMS

O.k. yours is quite different than mine. The second i turn my key on, my AC fan comes on and stays on forever, even before i start the car w/key on it stays on. FYI:, i looked at a few other things and your knock protection is turned off. Maybe you want it this way, but i thought i would let you know. Ray

+1

A second tuner noticed that my knock and boost cut protection was turned off, and set those parameters for me..... it doesnt hurt to have the additional 2 safegaurds working for you in case something goes wrong

o.k. heres the deal, the settings for WOT's A/C are good. I set mine to his and the fan works correct. It hits when the AC is turned on. It hits at about 190 degrees with A/C off. stays off with key on. COOL!!!! WOT: Please check your knock controll. I have not seen one major tuner run with it off!!! Ray

glad to hear it works for you.

where are you seeing that knock control is turned off? I dont use knock fuel, as timing is a much quicker means of controlling knock, as ignition timing is causing it.

i just looked to verify: setup/sensors/knock sensor/knock control is flagged on.

besides i can see in logged data, that when the knock voltage excedes my limit, i get knock retard??

+ i have borescoped my engine several times already & there is no signs of piston erosion around the perimieter.

please tell me where you are seeing the system turned off.

under "options" "full list" "Knock controll=off"

The map you sent me it IS NOT flagged on. Maybe you sent me a different map??? Which ever, you need to set it on. It is good to have timing pulled AND fuel added. On my timing map, anything over my max load say 25 PSI, i have the entire 25 PSI line at 0 degrees, so if i even over boost, i pull timing. Just check again. Its worth it.... Thanks for the map, you helped a ton!! Ray

Ray-

I just looked where you said to & "Knock Control" = "ON"????? same file that i posted?

What firmware are you using?

I am using Version 3.23r9 / version 3.23.9.189 / AEMcoms version 1.31.1.49 / Emerald version: 1.75.1.953

as i said above, i when i get occasional knock (91 octane), i can see knock retard working.

Thanks for your concern.

o.k., who knows, i bet you sent me an old map. I checked again and its flagged off. Doesnt matter, as long as your current map is on. You do need to be plugged in to your AEM to check for sure. I just want you to be safe. Happy Holidays!!! Ray

i just unzipped it again and its off. No freaking idea. This is even the only zipped anything on my computer. So i got the right map. I am not a computer genious. But its your file. It is date stamped the 1st so it must have date stamped itself when it was extracted.......dont matter. If you say its on, then its on. Gremlins like this used to bother me, but i dont loose sleep anymore. Happy tuning!!! Ray
