Aem Ems V1.19

There is a new version that is available for download from the AEM site even though the forum is being changed over to a different host.

Here is the link:

I haven't seen any detailed instructions like the last update from 1.03 to 1.11. When the forum gets up and running I'm sure there will be more info. I found this on Honda-Tech under the forced induction section, there might be more info. over there.

The new v1.19 has several great driveability upgrades such as the O2FB min and max RPM and fuel warmup accel tables for aditional accel fuel. But I had issues with it on the Knock Sensor. My car lost power and seemed the new version was looking at the Knock Raw voltage instead of the Knock#1 voltage. I was well under the cal table but my car was still pulling ign timing thoughout the entire powerband.

Anyone else have this problem? I could try to flash it again I guess and see what happens but I posted somthing on AEMPower and got no responce.

I have been using 1.19 for a few months now, and have had no issues.

Luis if you need a hand updating your firmware give me a call. But honestly you really don't need the updates with the evo.

I just upgraded from 1.11 to 1.19 last night without any major issues. I did it to be able to use the telemetry stuff for the new EMS serial gauge.

a few things I noticed: I have to cycle power to ems each time the laptop connects.
when you save an internal datalog, there is a checkbox that will open aem log and open the file after you save the log. very handy.

you can also now save presets of internal datalogger setups. nice to be able to change from dragstrip logging, nitrous logging, closed loop feedback logging, autox logging setups with a single click.

Did you re-move the old versions first as well as the files in the system32 folder that pertain to AEM before installiing the new version? I have found that helped out much better for any bugs or glitches.

I uninstalled aempro, but left aemlog. I did not go hunting in all the windows folders for aem files, though I probobly should have.

Everything use to work fine with 1.11 but when I tried to upgrade my laptop to 1.19 all went to ****. Anyone else experience this? I also made sure to delete all old files from all folders/system folders.

A lot of invalid AEM ECU issues. The application locks up, etc. My laptop is very beefy so I know it's not hardware related and everything was fine with 1.11.
