Can my AEM EMS be expanded easily?

I bought my AEM EMS w/o the a/f gauge.

If I buy the AEM serial gauge along with an AEM wideband 02 sensor and along with an EGT sensor, can I hook it up easily to my current EMS and use the EMS to monitor a/f ratios and EGT's and program it with additional safeguards?

I guess you have the 30-1313 not the 30-1313u, right? If so you can not just buy the wideband o2 sensor and hook it up, because it requires a controller. The 30-1313u has that controller built in, but since that is not your case you would have to purchase the 30-4100 which is the Gauge-Type Wideband UEGO controller. This would then be wired to your EMS, so it can have access to that data.

As for EGT, yes you can buy the probe and hook it up to the EMS then view whatever data you wish with the Serial Datastream Gauge.

Thanks for your response. Is the wiring difficult at all?

With the serial datastrem guage I guess I can montior like 19 parameters, and with the WEGO I can monitor a/f ratios.....

I figure if I can use the EMS to monitor both a/f and EGT's and have safeuards built into them that my car can run much safer and be tuned more accurately...
